This is a project that I developed together with my husband.
I had the crazy idea, he wrote the scripts, then I created the set designs and the stage model, so any child can have his/hers own puppet theater at home.
Bellow you'll find pages from the book and photos with the DIY kit. And also my first ever video - produced, filmed, directed, starred, and edited by myself. It was fun and also a pain in the back side! :))

The concept, the illustrations, the editing and formatting --
I did everything from the first idea to the InDesign package sent to the typography for print!
It was the baptism of fire! :))
For the process, I used Adobe Photoshop and a Wacom Cintiq graphic tablet for digital painting, and Adobe InDesign for book formatting.

I love learning and doing new things and challenging my limits.
And all this because I love puppet theater!
I love it since childhood, when I had a book with tutorials for DIY toys. Theater stages, with props and puppets, were my favourite toys in the book.
Years later I actually worked in a puppet theater and got a master's degree in Scenography.
Which led to me doing the set design for a play mounted in Romania's best rated theater, directed by Laura Maria Vlădoiu. The creative process was taken under the supervision and guidance of a great director and teacher, that I shall always remember fondly - Alexandru Darie.
